Lawrence Buchholz of Iowa put in fine seasons as a quarterback and guard on Iowa School for the Deaf’s Bobcats (football and basketball). His grandson Noah, also Deaf, spearheaded a campaign to have him elected to ISD’s Hall of Fame—belatedly, but with great joy.
